LEGAL STUFF

YOU will retain ALL copyrights to your erotic short story, but if you choose to accept the publishing contract and include your erotic short story submission in the Accentuate Erotic Anthology, we do ask for non-exclusive, first print publication rights, North American, exclusive for one year. We might negotiate electronic rights at a later date.

Selected writers will receive a writer's contract for each selected submission at the end of each quarter. Included with the contract will be the amount of the advance payment (between $10-250) and then the percentage of royalties assigned for the writer's portion of participation in the anthology. Once the writer reviews and agrees to the contract, returns it signed, we will release the payment for the advance. Royalties are paid quarterly, two quarters after publication, for as long as the book remains in print.

After the story publishes in the print anthology trade paperback book and authors have received their contributor's copies, authros will be allowed to buy additional books at a discount off the retail price of up to 50%, depending on the retail cost of the anthology. Details and an author's packet will go out to the writers before the anthology goes to print.

THERE IS NO PURCHASE REQUIRED, PERIOD, EVER!

We simply make the book available at a discount to those who want to give it as a gift or make it available for sale on their own website and make a little money from selling it. We will never require you to purchase a single copy of the book.

YOU WILL NOT BE ASKED TO PAY FOR EDITING OR CRITIQUE SERVICES.

Editing is part of publishing, so all stories that are chosen will be fully edited for free by an experienced, professional print book editor.

FINE PRINT:

No single author will have more than FOUR stories in one book, so after the fourth story, they will be ineligible for future submissions until the next erotic anthology is being prepared. Authors names will not be included on the front cover of the book, but they will be listed on the back cover and on the legal pages inside the book, on a byline for their story and in the table of contents for their story. All author's names or pen names will be included in Amazon.com, but will not necessarily be included by other online book store retailers.
